2019 REUNION, CODY WY
The weather was beautiful, the program was interesting, the guests were fun, the food was good and everybody was enthusiastic,

We thank the Reunion Committee for producing such a fun-filled 4-day family festival!

The last-minute additions of Allan to Darian Dudrick's radio show and Archivist Karen Roles' Cody Genealogy Presentation at the McCracken Research Library filled out a busy schedule.

Buffalo Bill Dam & Visitor Center Tour

When completed in 1910, Buffalo Bill Dam was one of the first concrete arch dams built in the United States. At 325 feet high, it was the highest dam in the world and served as a model for the Hoover Dam. Beginning in 1985, the height was raised by 25 feet, doubling the potential volume of the reservoir.

Buffalo Bill Scenic Byway Motorcade

Surrounded by mountains, the whole area abounds in volcanic rock formations and wildlife.

Teddy Roosevelt described this route as "the most scenic 50 miles in the U.S."

Watch out for the wild animals, give them the right of way, and wave to the Big Boy!

One of the landmarks we pass is the Smith Mansion, the most unusual house in Wyoming, hand-built by architect Francis Lee Smith.

You can't see the sign, but its for sale.
