2017 REUNION, GOLDEN CO
Saddle Up for Golden's Annual Buffalo Bill Days!
This festival began in the 1940's as a commerative trailride up Lookout Mountain to Buffalo Bill's grave.Over the decades, the Buffalo Bill Days Committee has expanded it to the largest community festival held in Golden. This 3-day festival draws many people from surrounding communities who enjoy bringing their families to a wholesome, small-town community event. We hope you'll enjoy it as much as they do!

West of Golden, is the Lariat Loop National Scenic Byway, 40 miles of Western Adventure. After the Buffalo Bill Grave and Museum, there's the Boettcher Mansion. Continue on to the Buffalo Overlook off I-70 at Exit 254 and at Exit 253, the Chief Hosa Lodge. A little further west is the Humphrey History Park and Museum, or go south to the Hiwan Homestead Museum in Evergreen, with its Creative Arts Center. Take Rt 74 from Evergreen through Kittredge, past Dunafon Castle and Idledale, down the canyon to Morrison, with its Natural History Museum and Bandimere Speedway. Then, north on I-470 to Dinosaur Ridge and return to Golden.

Car rentals from Denver's airport are EXPENSIVE as Colorado adds considerable tax to any rental. Drive if you can carpool. There are many horse boarding stables in the area. Google Horse Boarding Stables for preferable selections. Please contact Suzanna Cody at iamone@earthlink.net for animal entry in parade. Please know that parking is a huge issue as Golden will be overflowing for Buffalo Bill Days. The Table Mountain Inn and the Golden Hotel are well-situated for most activities and feature free parking for guests only.

Most Reunion activities are within walking distance of our headquarters at the Table Mountain Inn, only 3 blocks from the action!
