October 6th was a beautiful fall afternoon in Central Ohio. Some 20 Cody cousins gathered that day at the Whetstone Community Center in Columbus for the annual Ohio Circle reunion. Guests arrived early to renew old acquaintances and work up an appetite for the potluck luncheon. Afterwards, a silent auction was held, followed by the business meeting and selection of officers.

This year’s officers are Frank Cody, President, Terry Cody, Vice President & Toni Trent, Secretary/Treasurer.

At the business meeting, it was proposed that the Ohio Circle offer to host the International Reunion in Cincinnati in 2016, instead of the previously proposed 2014. The consensus was that it was most important to strengthen the membership of the Ohio Circle, before volunteering to host the International Reunion.

Attending were Ross & Glorine Cody (270/347), Craig Cody (270/3474), Terence Cody (270/3452), Frank Cody (270/3431), Toni and John Trent (270/3731), Steve Trent and Nina Trent (270/37311), Shannon Trent (270/373111), Steven Trent II (270/373112), Anna Trent (270/373113), Jennifer Trent (270/37312), David Trent (270/37313), Shawn and Sarah Trent (270/37314) who were visiting from Eugene Oregon, W. Jeff Steece (aka Buffalo Bill and honorary member of OH Circle Cody Family OOO/120), Lisa Meeker (daughter of Craig Cody), Bill Sharp (friend of the family) and Janet Owens (friend of the family: OOO/105).

It being near Veteran's Day, we'd like to honor Ross & Glorine Cody, seated with cane, for his WWII service in Europe with the 101st Airborne.
